to provide today’s youth, young adults, and low-income families with training, opportunity, leadership, and discipline which will form an educational, social, and economic partnership through focused coordination of community resources

Core Competencies

It is the POLICY of the Homework Hangout Club that each program implemented, managed &/or coordinated shall evidence the following competencies through staff &/or volunteer performance at the required &/or respective level of proficiency.

ACCOUNTABILITY: Accepts individual responsibility for and meets acknowledged standards for the value, proficiency, efficient and effectiveness in the management development, and suitability of work.  Maintains compliance to the HHC core values.

CIVILITY: Exhibits respect for others, open-mindedness, & concern for the common good.

COMMUNICATION: Communicates in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing regardless of the setting or environment.
